Colorful vibrant artwork by Dutch Artist

When I paint, I surrender to the process. I need to be fully present, with a clear and uncluttered mind — something that is not always easily achieved. My work emerges from intuition: a dialogue between the work on the paper and the painter within. This conversation takes shape as a dynamic interplay of strong graphic elements and fluid movement.

Although I come from an artistic family, pursuing art was not considered an obvious path. I spent many years working in advertising and marketing, while studying ceramic art in the evenings. A few years ago, painting took on a more central role in my life. Today, I divide my time between both practices — painting and ceramics — a balance that feels entirely right.

I am based in the Netherlands.
